I have been seeing an osteopath to help me with stored trauma and unexpressed emotions in my body, as I battle depression, and she's already warned me that it is all going to start coming up. The rage, specifically. All the unexpressed rage, that I have been pushing down for 40-ish years. And here I am, looking for ways to release the rage in a "controlled" manner.
This resonates so much. It's so true about the unexpressed emotions. I think as 'girls' we are also taught that our value is often based on being 'good'. So much of our healing is finding outlets that feel safe to express. Where we feel alive and vital and never too much. Thank you for sharing!
